Impactful, Fun, Rewarding.

We are looking to local businesses for their support to help with The Total Makeover Challenge.

The Total Makeover Challenge (herein referred to as TMC) is a 4 month self-improvement program that educates and encourages women to reach their highest potential in personal health, fitness and self-confidence. Their journey includes weight loss coaching, fitness training, personal growth seminars to find one’s personal mission statement, and workshops on how to walk, talk and present oneself with confidence. Each year this challenge changes women’s lives by giving them an opportunity to find themselves again after losing themselves through raising families, working in unsatisfying careers to just make ends meet or dealing with personal tragedies. This program gives them the energy, support and confidence to take their lives back. It also gives them a sense of “pay it forward” as each year many of the women come back to share and help with the next Challenge.

To thank sponsors for their generous support through cash or donated gifts and services, we offer different levels of sponsorship.  Please click here to view our sponsorship package.

Charity of The Year

The Joy Smith Foundation.

The Joy Smith Foundation works to ensure that every Canadian man, woman and child is safe from manipulation, force, or abuse of power designed to lure and exploit them into the sex trade or forced labour. This is achieved through educating the public; and providing funds and support to frontline organizations that rescue and rehabilitate survivors human trafficking.

After 23 years as a teacher, our Founder & President Joy Smith made Canadian history as the first sitting MP to amend the Criminal Code twice, both times to better protect victims of human trafficking. Joy Smith is now retired from Parliament and volunteers full-time for her Foundation. Since its establishment, the Foundation has evolved from its focus on providing funds to shelter organizations, to a focus on prevention and awareness programs.

We develop human trafficking educational programs and facilitate their implementation in Canadian schools. We provide training and educational materials to teachers, parents and volunteers to help them raise awareness of human trafficking in their communities. We equip Canadian families with the knowledge they need to recognize the signs of grooming and protect their children from traffickers. Many Canadians are surprised when they learn how prevalent human trafficking is here in Canada, and traffickers are empowered by this public apathy. We seek to fill the gaps in public knowledge that allow traffickers to thrive. The societal costs of human trafficking are enormous, and our best hope is to prevent this crime from happening in the first place.
